Who is behind Neurodivergent Ministry?
Hi, I'm Andy.
I am currently an ordinand based in Manchester, navigating my own vocational journey within the Church, which you can read about on my Substack. My personal experiences (in work and the church) with neurodivergence inspired me to create a supportive, practical space for others walking a similar path. When I am not focusing on my theological working or developing resources for this site, you can usually find me walking my Westie, spending time with my wife (who is in Reader Training), or trying to pull the perfect shot of espresso at home.
How are financial contributions and support funds used?

The funds primarily help keep the website's lights on and provide the necessary backing for us to research, design, and publish more free resources. Additionally, contributions support a dedicated fund to enable my ongoing ordination training, ensuring I can continue to dedicate time to this ministry moving forward.
Who does ND Ministry Support?
Our core focus is on neurodivergent individuals at all stages of their vocational journey—whether you are exploring a calling (seeking), navigating theological education (training), or actively serving in ministry.
Beyond the individual, our platform is also designed for churches, vocations teams, and leadership. We provide resources to help parishes better understand neurodiversity, enabling them to support their disciples effectively and build truly inclusive environments where everyone is equipped to do more.
What happened to Discern with Dyslexia?
It hasn't gone away—it has simply grown! As the project developed, we realised the need for support extended far beyond dyslexia (and ADHD).
Neurodivergent Ministry is the new, permanent home for all the original Discern with Dyslexia content. We have broadened our tent to embrace the wider neurodivergent community, ensuring that those with ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, and other neurotypes also have a dedicated space for vocational support and encouragement.
